Once upon a time, on the shores of the Aegean Sea, in the ever-buzzing and ever-relaxed city of Thessaloniki, two musical streams of Ukrainian musician Hladun Oleksander (Dunaewsky69) and Greek-Ukrainian sound engineer Michael Stadniychuk merged.

The result was the HITSYOURSELF project, based on free energy flows, unlimited improvisation, and careful attention to sound. Recorded on a magnetic tape, the first EP of the project under the difficult name “Koudounoforoi” can be defined as a living reflection on the subject of Greek reality, traditions and mentality.

The release of the EP is accompanied by a video work by Natalia Rumyantseva on the track of the same name, which has a similar theme.

Listening at maximum volume is recommended.

Μια φορά και έναν καιρό, στις ακτές του Αιγαίου Πελάγους, στη συνεχώς θορυβώδη και ταυτόχρονα χαλαρή Θεσσαλονίκη, συγχωνεύτηκαν δύο μουσικές τάσεις – του Ουκρανού μουσικού Ολέξαντρου Γκλαντούν (Dunaewsky69) και του Ελληνο-Ουκρανού μηχανικού του ήχου Μιχάλη Σταντννιιτσούκ.

Ως αποτέλεσμα γεννήθηκε το πρότζεκτ HITSYOURSELF, βασισμένο στην ελεύθερη ροή της ενέργειας, στον απεριόριστο αυτοσχεδιασμό και στην ιδιαίτερη προσοχή στον ήχο.

Ηχογραφημένο σε μαγνητοταινία το πρώτο EP του πρότζεκτ λέγεται ¨Koudounoforoi¨ και αποτελεί καθαρό στοχασμό πάνω στην ελληνική πραγματικότητα, στη νοοτροπία και στις παραδόσεις.

Το πρώτο EP συνοδεύεται από βίντεο της κινηματογραφίστριας Ναταλία Ρουμιάντσεβα.

Συνιστάται ακρόαση σε μέγιστη ένταση του ήχου.
